Disneyland Dress Rehearsal

November 16th at 6:00 pm, all groups will need to be ready to run through their numbers.

Disneyland Performance

Our performance is at 11:30 am. Please have your dancers ready and by the Mickey fountain in the Hollywood Back Lot no later than 10:30 am.

Festival of Trees

We have an exciting opportunity to perform again for the Festival of Trees. We will be performing during their "Breakfast with Santa" on December 5th. Our performance time will be at 9:30 am. All dancers will need to be there and ready to perform at 9:00 am. Parents and family will need to purchase a ticket to this event. Adults are $5.00 and children under the age of 12 are $3.00 per person. Christmas Show

We will have a Chrismas show on Saturday, December 19th. Tickets will be sold at the door for $5.00. We will have more details coming in the next couple of weeks.

2009 Diamondback Performance

Tuesday, September 22

All Rehearsals are Mandatory:
Saturday, August 22, 9:30am to 12:00pm
Saturday, August 29, TBA
Saturday, September 12, 19, TBA
(All practices will always be between 9am and 12:30pm)
Dress Rehearsal – Monday, September 21

Total Cost: $70.00 plus costume
Includes: Costume (will be no more than $30.00), rehearsal fee, and 2 tickets
(The purple costume we used at the Phoenix Suns
we will use again @ the next Suns performance.)

For your cost conscious budget, our tickets will be equal or less than last years.
Your seats will be in the section with wider seats and where you can opt to be served.

It is time for another exciting performance for the Diamondbacks Pregame Show! It is a huge task to put a show together from scratch with so many dancers in such little time. Therefore, as always rehearsals are mandatory. Please understand we need all dancers to be present for the rehearsals to be as organized as possible.

The first rehearsal on August 22 will be held from 9:30am-12pm at the Mesa Studio on Gilbert and Southern. Please be early to rehearsals so we can start on time! Please wear your black booty shorts, not the ones with the star on the rear, to the first practice.

Age groups will modify the following rehearsal times but all rehearsals will be held between 9:00am-12:30pm. Please make sure to ask for notes from your dancer, all updates will be sent home with them.

There is a $25.00 deposit due August 22. The next balance will be due August 29 and the last September 12. This includes costume, rehearsal fee and 2 tickets. Each dancer is required to purchase 2 tickets to enable Jeanne’s to perform at the game. Your total ticket count is due on August 22 with your first deposit.

Please let Stephanie know if you are performing, no later than Friday, August 21st.

Powerforce Auditions & Dance Camp

Hello Dancers,

Our annual dance camp is coming up, and this will help fulfill your summer dance requirements. Dance camp is July 27th through the 31st. Please make sure you are signed up for camp.

Powerforce auditions will be held Friday July 31st @ 3:30 pm. We will be adding Hip Hop to the Powerforce company this year.

Our first performance will be the Arizona State Fair in October. The date is still being set, once I have the information I will update everyone.

You can participate in the Dacin at the Diamondbacks. The performance will be September 22nd.

Summer Class Requirements

Attention Dancers!!!

You will have two options to fulfill your summer dance requirements for Powerforce.

Option 1: Attend your regular Monday schedule Powerforce classes throughout the summer and attend Dance Camp.

Option 2: Attend the Master Workshops and Dance Camp.

Power Force Dance Company

Q: Have you ever wonder what the Power Force Dance Company was all about?

A: The Power Force Dance Company is the tap and jazz performing company for Jeanne's School of Dance. There are individual Power Force Dance Companies at each of Jeanne's four studios. Each year, the companies strive to provide additional performing opportunities for their dancers. This has been done by performing at the Arizona State Fair, Disneyland, Dance Competitions, and Workshops.

Q: What ages are eligible to participate in the Power Force Dance Company?

A: We have children as young as 5 years of age through High School.

Q: When are the classes for Power Force?

A: All Power Force classes are on Mondays. The children take an hour of tap and an hour of jazz. It is strongly recommended that all dancers take a ballet during the week.

Q: How can I join Power Force?

A: Each child is evaluated for the appropriate level. The dancers audition once a year at the end of summer. The auditions are held at the end of Dance Camp. However, we are accepting children during the year. If your child is interested, please contact the front desk for more information.

Q: What will my child get out of performing in this company?

A: Your child will build their strength and ability in dance. They will have the opportunity to perform in different environments throughout the year. All of the children build friendships with their classmates, and learn how to work together.
